Earlobe Repair | Montgomery AL

Torn or stretched earlobes are unfortunately a common occurrence. When heavy earrings are worn they may stretch the earlobe over time or get caught and tear the earlobe itself. Luckily this is an easily performed procedure at Alabama Surgical Arts, and Dr. Nizam can either sedate you or perform it under local anesthesia. The procedure typically takes 30 minutes to an hour.

Recovery

Recovery for this procedure is minimal. You can return to your daily activities the next day if you choose to undergo a sedation or the same day if it is performed under local anesthesia.  Non dissolving sutures are removed at 7 days. The site can be re-pierced at 2 months.
