Celluma LED Facial | Montgomery
What is Celluma® LED Light Therapy?
Celluma® LED Light Therapy is a revolutionary FDA-approved treatment proven to accelerate skin regeneration and healing. Based on NASA LED technology, LED phototherapy helps increase collagen and elastin production, destroy acne bacteria, reduce inflammation and speed healing of damaged skin, thereby reducing fine lines and wrinkles, evening out skin tone and helping heal stubborn acne and rosacea conditions. Celluma® LED Light Therapy is an effective treatment for musculoskeletal conditions such as arthritis, joint and muscle pain or stiffness. LED Light Therapy does not utilize UV light.
How does Low-Level Light Therapy Work?
In the same way that plants use chlorophyll to convert sunlight into plant tissue, high-intensity light emitting diodes (LEDs) utilizing specific, proven wavelengths of light can trigger a natural biostimulatory effect in human tissue. Research has shown that phototherapy can:
- Increase circulation
- Accelerate tissue repair
- Decrease bruising
- Decrease wrinkles
- Decrease inflammation
- Improve skin tone
- Texture and clarity
- Ease muscle and joint pain
- Spasm and arthritis
- Kill acne bacteria
And much more!
Three Main Benefit Groups:
Anti-Aging – Decreases wrinkles, improves skin’s firmness and youthful appearance
Pain Management – Reduce pain, muscle spasms, inflammation, while increasing blood circulation
Acne Treatment – Reduce acne blemishes and kill acne bacteria, resulting in a clearer, smoother complexion
The Celluma Difference
- Safe, clinically proven, and FDA cleared
- Non-toxic, non-invasive, and an affordable alternative to drugs and harsh topicals
- Flexible and conforms closely to the treatment area for optimal effectiveness unlike other LED devices
- Designed to treat large surface areas and can be used safely anywhere on the body
The treatment is for all skin types and it is non-ablative, non-invasive, painless with absolutely no downtime. Patients or clients can return to their normal activity immediately after the treatment. We recommend scheduling 2-3 sessions per week for one month for therapeutic results. Options include Celluma therapy on its own, as a facial or as an add-on after other treatments such as botox and fillers or microneedling.
Are there any harmful side effects to Celluma® LED Light Therapy?
Biophotonic technology generates negligible amounts of heat, is clinically proven to be safe, and has achieved non-significant risk status for human trials by the FDA.
Does Celluma® LED Light Therapy hurt?
No. Celluma® LED Light Therapy is non-invasive, and is painless when used as intended.
How safe is Celluma® LED Light Therapy?
Celluma® LED Light Therapy is based on light-emitting diode (LED) arrays developed for NASA manned space flight experiments. In comparison to lasers, the patented LED 14 technology generates negligible amounts of heat, is clinically proven to be safe, and has achieved no significant risk status for human trials by the FDA. Phototherapy has been studied extensively in Europe and the US for over thirty years and has been the subject of over 2,500 scientific papers, published worldwide. There are no reported negative side effects to the therapy, which is painless, non-toxic and compliments many traditional therapies. In 1991, the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development along with the National Institute of Neurologic Disorders and Stroke, declared phototherapy to be safe.
Does Celluma® LED Light Therapy utilize UV light?
No. Biophotonic devices utilize a combination of blue, red, and infrared (not visible to the naked eye) light emitting diodes (LEDs) only.
How long does an individual Celluma® LED Light Therapy session last?
Are there any special preparations required before using Celluma®?
Celluma® should be in close proximity with the skin which should be free of clothing, make-up, or anything else which may deflect the light away from the skin.
Why do I need to remove my make-up?
Many make-up formulas contain minerals that may deflect the light. Clean, freshly washed skin is recommended for best results.
Is it necessary to lie down to use the Celluma®?
No. You can use the Celluma® when sitting or lying down. For example, there are two ways to use the Celluma® for the lower back region. The user may either sit comfortably in a chair with the Celluma® curved around the lower back area, or alternatively, the user can lie face down and place the Celluma® over the lower back region. The key benefit of the Celluma® is its unique ability to mold its shape to conform to the profile of the body.
